How to fix CS 1.6 update steam problem

I know you have been looking everywhere but failed to find the solution. I know steam sucks because selling us something that completely works.Most of the problem with steam is when you tried to run steam , it will show the updating status and this will take forever if you dont do something. Here is how to fix it.


Step 1 :

Go to Google Search for

SteamUI.dll
Steam.dll

and download these files.


Step 2 :

Unzip these files and put in your steam folder , for example like mine

C:\Program Files\Steam

and dont forget to put in

C:\WINDOWS\system and C:\WINDOWS\system32


Step 3 :

Open back your steam and it will start updating.
